Wide receiver prospect Romello Brinson has committed to the Miami Hurricanes. The Miami native chose the Hurricanes over Georgia and Texas A&M among others. Brinson is a Top 150 prospect according to the 247sports composite.
Brinson becomes the highest rated commit in Miami’s 2021 recruiting class. He is the second four star receiver to commit to the Hurricanes this cycle (There are only two WR commits). Head Coach Manny Diaz looks primed to rebound on the field this season and is heading into 2020 with some momentum on the recruiting trail. Wide Receiver prospect Troy Franklin has committed to the Oregon Ducks. Franklin announced his commitment tonight. The Menlo Park, CA star committed to Oregon over offer from Alabama, Washington and Arizona State among others. Franklin is a top 50 prospect in the 247Sports composite.
Franklin is now the highest rated commit in Oregon’s 2021 recruiting class. He is second four star wide receiver to commit to the Ducks this cycle. Head Coach Mario Cristobal had a big season last year, and is capitalizing on the recruiting trail. Oregon now has 13 commitments with 9 of them ranking four stars or better. Defensive line prospect Jahvaree Ritzie has committed to the North Carolina Tar Heels. Ritzie announced his commitment on twitter this evening. The Kernersville, NC star committed to North Carolina over offers from Georgia, Ohio State, South Carolina and Tennessee among others. Ritzie is a top 150 recruit according to the 247Sports composite.
Ritzie is the fourth highest rated commit in the Tar Heels 2021 recruiting class. He is the second four star defensive lineman to commit to North Carolina this cycle. North Carolina now has 16 commitments this cycle with 11 of them ranking four stars or better. Mack Brown has been doing a great job on the recruiting trail since his return to Chapel Hill. Running back prospect AJ Green has committed to the Arkansas Razorbacks. Green announced his commitment on twitter this evening. The Tulsa, OK star committed to Arkansas over offers from Michigan, Oklahoma and Oklahoma State among others. Green is a top 200 recruit according to the 247Sports composite.
Green is the highest ranked prospect in the Razorbacks 2021 recruiting class. He is the first four star recruit in this class. Offensive tackle prospect JC Latham has committed to the Alabama Crimson Tide. Latham announced his commitment on twitter this evening. The IMG Academy star chose Alabama over offers from Ohio State, LSU and Oklahoma among others. Latham is a five star recruit in the 247Sports Composite.
Latham is the highest rated recruit in Alabama’s 2021 recruiting class. He is the first offensive lineman to commit to the Tide this cycle as well as the first five star recruit. Alabama now has seven commitments with six of the seven ranking four stars or higher. Nick Saban has always been an outstanding recruiter and this should be another fantastic class for the Tide. 2022 Quarterback prospect Walker Howard has committed to the LSU Tigers. Howard announced his commitment on twitter today around noon. The Lafayette, LA star had offers from schools across the country but was considered to be favoring the Tigers for some time now. Howard is a four star recruit according to 247Sports.com.
Howard is the third highest rated commit in the Tigers 2022 recruiting class. LSU now has five commitments in the class with four of the five ranking four stars. Coach Ed Orgeron is trying to capitalize on the Tigers excellent championship season on the recruiting trail. LSU is off to a great start for 2022.

The Indianapolis, IN star chose the Hoosiers over offers from Purdue, Iowa, Missouri and Mississippi among others. McCulley is a four star recruit according to the 247Sports composite.
McCulley is the highest rated commitment in the Indiana 2021 recruiting class. The Hoosiers now have 9 commitments in the class, though McCulley is the only four star recruit. Coach Tom Allen had a successful season in 2019 and is looking to parlay that into recruiting wins like this. Linebacker/defensive end prospect TJ Bollers has committed to the Wisconsin Badgers. Bollers announced his commitment on twitter this afternoon. The Tiffin, IA star chose the Badgers over offers from Iowa and Nebraska among others. Bollers is a top 150 recruit according to the 247Sports composite.
Bollers is the second highest rated commitment in the Badgers 2021 recruiting class. The Badgers now have 14 commitments in the class with 5 of them rankings four stars or better. Coach Paul Chryst has the Badgers recruiting at a higher level recently and Bollers continues that momentum. Bollers is the highest rated defensive prospect to commit to Wisconsin. Athlete prospect Sam Jackson has committed to the Purdue Boilermakers. Jackson announced his commitment on twitter this evening. The Naperville, IL star de-committed from Minnesota and flipped to Purdue. Jackson is a four star recruit according to the 247Sports composite.
Jackson is the highest rated commit in the Purdue 2021 recruiting class. The Boilermakers now have 9 commits in this class, as Jeff Brohm looks to continue his strong recruiting at Purdue. Receiver prospects Blaine Green and Bryson Green have committed to the Oklahoma State Cowboys. The twins announced their commitment on twitter this afternoon. The Allen, TX stars chose Oklahoma State over Auburn, Minnesota, Nebraska and many others. Bryson is a four star recruit and Blaine is a three star recruit according to the 247Sports composite.
The twins are now the highest rated commits in the Oklahoma State 2021 recruiting class. The Cowboys now have 10 commits in this class. The Rockledge, FL star chose Arkansas over Oklahoma, Florida State, South Carolina and Missouri. Sanders is a high three star recruit according to the 247Sports composite.
Sanders is the second highest rated commit in the Arkansas 2021 recruiting class. Arkansas now has 9 commits in this class, which is Sam Pittman’s first recruiting class at Arkansas. Nebraska wide receiver J.D. Spielman has officially announced he will be transferring and playing his final season elsewhere. Spielman was Nebraska’s leading receiver in 2019 and has posted three consecutive 800 yard seasons for the Cornhuskers. Spielman was also a playmaker on special teams having scored three touchdowns as a punt and kick returner in his career.
Spielman has been away from the team much of this off season and his decision is not entirely a surprise. His departure leaves a gaping hole in Nebraska’s wide receiver room and other players will have to step up in an important year for Scott Frost. The senior receiver is a Minnesota native and it will be interesting to monitor what teams pursue his commitment.
