It appears Florida State had a team meeting and the issues that caused Marvin Wilson to be upset were addressed. He recently tweeted about the meeting and the plan moving forward. This is a good result as the team was able to work through the issues.

This story is about much more than football, but it is good to see a Coach and his players resolve these issues and be able to move forward.

While most college football programs are returning to on-campus training that may not be the case at one school. Florida State star defensive tackle Marvin Wilson tweeted that Head Coach Mike Norvell allegedly lied about his conversations with the team regarding the George Floyd situation. He goes on to declare that the team will not be working out until further notice.

Wilson could have gone to the NFL after last season but decided to return to Florida State. He has the potential to be a first round draft choice in the 2021 NFL Draft. With this news, it appears Mike Norvell is in hot water with his star player and possibly all his players, very early in his tenure in Tallahassee. This is a developing situation and we will keep you posted as we hear more.
