The Hurry Up: 7/13 to 7/19

Cornerback prospect Prophet Brown has committed to the USC Trojans. He announced his decision on twitter tonight. The Elk Grove, CA standout chose the Trojans over offers from Michigan, Nebraska, Notre Dame, Oklahoma and Oregon among others. Brown is a Top 250 prospect nationally according to the 247Sports Composite.

Brown is the first pure cornerback recruit to commit to the Trojans in the 2021 recruiting class. The class now numbers 18 commitments with 12 rated four stars or higher. Offensive line prospect Terrence Ferguson has committed to the Alabama Crimson Tide. He confirmed his decision on twitter earlier today. The Fort Valley, GA star chose the Tide over offers from Georgia and Florida State among others. Ferguson is a Top 50 prospect nationally according to the 247Sports Composite.

Ferguson is the fourth four star or higher offensive line recruit to commit to the Tide in the 2021 recruiting class. The class now numbers 15 commitments with 12 rated four stars or higher. The Alabama recruiting machine is on a roll and is shooting up the recruiting rankings.

Cornerback prospect Jordan Hancock has committed to the Ohio State Buckeyes. He confirmed his decision on twitter earlier today. The Suwanee, GA standout flipped his commitment from Clemson to the Buckeyes. Hancock is a Top 100 prospect nationally according to the 247Sports Composite.

Hancock is the third cornerback recruit to commit to the Buckeyes in the 2021 recruiting class. The class now numbers 19 commitments with an incredible 16 rated four stars or higher. Cornerback prospect Clinton Burton Jr has committed to the Boston College Eagles. He confirmed his decision on twitter yesterday. The Baltimore, MD star flipped his commitment from Florida to the Eagles. Burton Jr. is a Top 200 prospect nationally according to the 247Sports Composite.

Burton Jr. is the highest rated recruit to commit to Boston College in the 2021 recruiting class. The class now numbers 18 commitments with Burton being the lone commit rated four stars or higher. Defensive end prospect Jabari Ishmael has committed to the Miami Hurricanes. He confirmed his decision on twitter yesterday. The Miami, FL star chose the Hurricanes over offers from Oregon and many others. Ishmael is a Top 250 prospect nationally according to the 247Sports Composite.

Ishmael is the first defensive end recruit to commit to Miami in the 2021 recruiting class. The class now numbers 18 commitments with 9 of the commits rated four stars or higher. Miami has a lot of elite local talent, if they could convince a majority of them to stay home it would go a long way toward getting “The U” back where they want to be. Linebacker prospect Jamari Buddin has committed to the Penn State Nittany Lions. He confirmed his decision on twitter yesterday. The Belleville, MI star chose the Nittany Lions over offers from Minnesota and Michigan State among others. Buddin is a Top 350 prospect nationally according to the 247Sports Composite.

Buddin is the fourth highest rated recruit to commit to Penn State in the 2021 recruiting class. The class now numbers 13 commitments with six of the commits rated four stars or higher. Offensive line prospect Logan Taylor has committed to the Virginia Cavaliers. He confirmed his decision on twitter earlier today. The Alexandria, VA resident chose to stay close to home over offers from Florida, Virginia Tech and West Virginia among others. Taylor is a Top 350 prospect nationally according to the 247Sports Composite.

Taylor is the highest rated recruit to commit to the Cavaliers in the 2021 recruiting class. The class now numbers 18 commitments with only Taylor rated four stars or higher. Offensive line prospect Owen Prentice has committed to the Washington Huskies. He confirmed his decision on twitter last night. The Seattle, WA resident chose to stay close to home over offers from Stanford and LSU among others. Prentice is a Top 250 prospect nationally according to the 247Sports Composite.

Prentice is the second highest rated recruit to commit to the Huskies in the 2021 recruiting class. The class now numbers 14 commitments with 4 of them rated four stars or higher. Athlete prospect Tommi Hill has committed to the Arizona State Sun Devils. He announced his decision on twitter this Wednesday evening. The Orlando, FL resident chose the Sun Devils over offers from Arkansas, Mississippi State, Nebraska, Oklahoma and Penn State among others. Hill is a Top 200 prospect nationally according to the 247Sports Composite.

Hill is an athlete commit who is expected to be a defensive back in the Sun Devils 2021 recruiting class. The class now has 9 commitments with Hill being the only one of them rated four stars or higher. Quarterback prospect Shedeur Sanders has committed to the FAU Owls. He announced his decision on twitter this Monday night. The Cedar Hill, TX star chose FAU over offers from Louisville and South Carolina among others. Sanders is a top 250 prospect nationally according to the 247Sports Composite.

Sanders is the highest rated commit in FAU’s 2021 recruiting class which now numbers 19. Willie Taggert is replacing Lane Kiffin and will need to put together a good first class to continue FAU’s positive momentum. Sanders is the only commit in the class rated four stars or better.
