Top quarterback prospect Caleb Williams has committed to the Oklahoma Sooners. He announced his decision on CBS Sports HQ earlier tonight. The Washington, DC native picked the Sooners over offers from LSU, Maryland, and Georgia among others. Williams is considered the top quarterback and number four overall player according to the 247Sports Composite.
Williams is the top rated player in the Sooners class and is a massive win for head coach Lincoln Riley’s program. Williams is joined at the top of the class by two premier pass catchers in Mario Williams and Cody Jackson. Caleb Williams is the second four star or better commitment for the Sooners today, and the class now holds 11 commitments with seven players rated four stars or better. Cornerback prospect Latrell McCutchin has committed to the Oklahoma Sooners. He announced his decision on twitter this evening. The Austin, TX star chose the Sooners over offers from Alabama and many others. McCutchin is a Top 150 prospect nationally according to the 247Sports Composite.
McCutchin is the fourth highest ranked commit in Oklahoma’s 2021 recruiting class. The class now has 10 total commitments with 6 of them rated four stars or higher. Wide Receiver prospect Isaiah Brevard has committed to the Oregon Ducks. He announced his decision on twitter this afternoon. The Southaven, MS resident chose the Ducks over offers from Mississippi, Georgia and Florida State among others. Brevard is a Top 150 prospect nationally according to the 247Sports Composite.
Brevard is the seventh highest ranked commit in Oregon’s 2021 recruiting class. The class now has 16 total commitments with 12 of them rated four stars or higher. He is the third four star receiver to commit to Oregon in this class. Coach Mario Cristobal had a big year in 2019 and continues to capitalize on the recruiting trail. Defensive end prospect Keanu Koht has committed to the LSU Tigers. He announced his decision on twitter today. The native of Vero Beach, FL picked the Tigers over offers from Georgia, Alabama, Auburn, and Florida among others. Koht is a Top 250 prospect nationally according to the 247Sports composite.
Koht is the second four star edge rusher to commit to the Tigers this week, joining Naquan Brown. The Tigers now have four defensive end recruits committed with each of them rated four stars. Wide Receiver prospect J. Michael Sturdivant has committed to the Cal Bears. Sturdivant announced his decision on twitter this afternoon. The Flower Mound, TX star chose the Bears over offers from UCLA, LSU and Oklahoma among others. Sturdivant is a Top 200 prospect Prospect nationally according to the 247Sports Composite.
Sturdivant is the highest ranked commit in Cal’s 2021 recruiting class. He is 9th commit and the fourth ranked four stars or higher. Sturdivant is the second four star wide receiver in the recruiting class. Coach Justin Wilcox is working on a strong recruiting class in 2021 and will look to keep the momentum going. Defensive back prospect Jamier Johnson has committed to the Texas Longhorns. Johnson announced his decision on twitter yesterday evening. The Pasadena, CA resident chose the Longhorns over offers from schools across the country. Johnson is a Top 250 prospect nationally according to the 247Sports Composite.
Johnson is eighth highest ranked commit in the Longhorns 2021 recruiting class. He is the 14th commitment in the class and the 10th ranked four stars or higher. Johnson is the second four star cornerback to commit to the Longhorns in the 2021 class. Wide Receiver prospect Chris Hilton has committed to the LSU Tigers. Hilton announced his decision this morning. The Zachary, LA star chose LSU over Alabama, Georgia and Texas A&M among others. Hilton is a Top 75 prospect nationally according to the 247Sports composite.
Hilton is the 2nd highest rated commit in the Tigers 2021 recruiting class. He is the 14th commitment in the class and the 12th ranked four stars or higher. Hilton is the third top 100 wide receiver to commit to the Tigers in the 2021 class. Defensive end prospect Naquan Brown has committed to the LSU Tigers. Brown announced his decision via twitter. The Virgina Beach, VA native chose the Tigers over Virginia Tech, Penn State, Pittsburgh, and Miami among others. Brown is a Top 200 player nationally according to the 247Sports composite.
For LSU, Naquan Brown is the third defensive end commitment that is rated four stars. He is a bit of an undersized prospect at about 6’2″ 200-205 lbs but has had an excellent high school career. Defensive end prospect Dallas Turner has committed to the Alabama Crimson Tide. He announced his decision on CBS Sports HQ today. The Fort Lauderdale, FL star chose the Crimson Tide over Florida, Georgia and Michigan among others. Turner is a top 50 prospect in 247Sports Composite rankings.
Dallas Turner is the third highest rated commitment in the Alabama 2021 recruiting class. The class now has 9 total commitments with 7 rated four stars or higher in the composite. Turner is the first defensive end in the class for Alabama. Nick Saban has recruited at an elite level over the past decade and appears to be on his way to another stellar recruiting class. Cornerback prospect Tony Grimes has committed to the North Carolina Tar Heels. He announced his decision on CBS Sports HQ today. The Virginia Beach, VA resident was down to a final two of North Carolina and Georgia. Grimes is a big time five star prospect who is currently ranked in the Top 10 nationally according to the 247Sports composite.
Tony Grimes is the highest rated commitment in the class and the first cornerback. The positive momentum continues for the Tar Heels on the recruiting trail as coach Mack Brown has the program rejuvenated and ascending.
