Videos You Don’t Want To Miss: September 10 – 12, 2020

A quick run through of the best or worst plays of the weekend. College football gives us something remarkable every week, we are just making sure you don’t miss it.

Worst Punt Ever?

This was just a comedy of errors. The punter drops the snap, recovers it, dodges a defender only to boot it off the side of his foot to an opponent who catches it for a touchdown. College football will give you something you have never seen all the time, and we have never seen this before.

Wax On, Wax Off… or… Spin Right, Spin Left

D’Eriq King can a be a highlight reel by himself every week, but this play was something else. He is dead to rights, twice but somehow manages to not only escape but make a big gain on the play. It makes a normal human-being dizzy just watching him spin back and forth, but he has the balance and wherewithal to run for a big gain. Impressive.

Reach Up and Grab A Star

First off, a better throw and he scores, but then again, a better throw and we don’t get to see Malik Knowles make this incredible catch. He elevates, stretches with one arm and grabs the ball out of the sky for an incredible catch. Raise your hand if you would have pulled a muscle on this one?

For The Win! Maybe? Nope.

We pick up the action in the Texas State game with the Bobcats down 6 and receiving a punt with 1:39 to play. The incredible happens, and Jeremiah Haydel weaves through the entire UTSA coverage team to return the punt 90 yards for a touchdown. Then things got crazy, the extra point was missed and the game went to overtime. In double overtime Texas State would miss another short field goal and end up losing the game. Only in college football can you ride an emotional roller coaster like this.
