LB prospect Jaraye Williams has committed to the Louisville Cardinals. Williams tweeted his commitment this evening. The Burien, WA native was considering Arizona State, Boise State and Nebraska among others. Williams is a four star recruit according to the 247 Sports Composite.

Williams is the second four star composite commit in the Louisville 2021 class. Coach Scott Satterfield had a strong first season for the Cardinals and that should yield results like this on the recruiting trail. OL prospect Dylan Fairchild has committed to the Georgia Bulldogs. Fairchild tweeted his commitment this afternoon. The Cummings, GA native was considering Georgia, South Carolina and Tennessee among others. Fairchild is a top 150 recruit according to the 247 Sports Composite.

Fairchild adds to a strong Georgia recruiting class that also includes five star quarterback Brock Vandagriff, top 150 running back Loveasea Carroll and top 75 offensive tackle Micah Morris. Georgia has been recruiting really well the last few years and it’s no surprise to see them securing commitments from the top in state talents. Fairchild is the ninth player to commit to Georgia in the class of 2021, eight of those nine commitments are rated four stars or better by the 247 Sports composite ranking.

Former five star running back Lorenzo Lingard tweeted today that he will be available to play this fall for Florida. Lingard transferred from Miami to Florida after the 2019 season for personal reasons. At his best Lingard is a homerun hitting RB with decent size. He was hampered by a knee injury at Miami but is a talented prospect.

This is great news for Florida who has an opening at RB this year. Lingard will be in competition to earn playing time for the Gators this season. When healthy he is a high level talent who can change the game on any play. Florida is already a dangerous team this coming season but RB was one of the questions we had when doing our Florida preview. Another high ceiling player in the offensive huddle will be a boost for the Gators.
