Defensive End prospect Monkell Goodwine has committed to the Alabama Crimson Tide. Goodwine announced his commitment on twitter this evening. The Fort Washington, MD star chose the Crimson Tide over offers from Arizona State, Clemson, Kenttucky and Texas A&M among others. Goodwine is a Top 150 prospect nationally according to the 247Sports composite rankings.

Goodwine is the secoond highest rated defensive end recruit to commit to the Tide in the 2021 recruiting class. The Alabama class now has 17 total commitments with 14 of them rated four star prospects or higher. Goodwine is the ninth highest rated player to commit to Alabama in the 2021 cycle. Wide receiver Jaquez Smith has committed to the Indiana Hoosiers. He announced his decision today on twitter. The Atlanta, GA native chose the Hoosiers over Mississippi State and Pittsburgh, among others. Smith is a Top 200 prospect nationally according to the 247Sports composite.

Smith is the highest rated prospect in the Hoosiers’ class. Smith joins QB Donaven McCulley as the only four stars in the class. The QB/WR combo could become attractive to other Indiana targets who see a promising future for the Indiana offense. Indiana currently has 14 players committed including two players rated four stars. Defensive line prospect Marcus Burris has committed to the Texas A&M. Burris announced his decision on twitter. The Texarkana, TX star picked the Aggies over offers from TCU and Texas, among others. Burris is currently ranked as a Top 150 prospect nationally according to the 247Sports composite rankings.

Burris is the second highest rated recruit in the Aggies class, and is second defensive line recruit rated four stars. The Aggies are hot on the trail after other big defensive line prospects such as DL Monkell Goodwine. Texas A&M now holds commitments from 14 prospects, including 9 players rated four stars. Safety prospect Corey Collier has committed to the Florida Gators. Collier announced his commitment on CBS Sports HQ earlier today. The Miami, FL standout chose the Gators over offers from LSU and Miami among others. Collier is a Top 100 prospect nationally according to the 247Sports composite rankings.

Collier is the second highest rated recruit to commit to the Gators in the 2021 recruiting class. The Florida class now has 25 total commitments with 13 of them rated four star prospects or higher. Collier is the fourth safety to commit to the Gators this cycle, though Kamar Wilcoxson may reclassify to 2020. Tight End prospect Brock Bowers has committed to the Georgia Bulldogs. Bowers announced his commitment on twitter earlier today. The Napa, CA star chose the Bulldogs over offers from Cal, Oregon and Washington among others. Bowers is a Top 100 prospect nationally according to the 247Sports composite rankings.

Bowers is the fourth highest rated recruit to commit to the Bulldogs in the 2021 recruiting class. The Georgia class now has 12 total commitments with 10 of them rated four star prospects or higher. Bowers is the lone tight end to commit to the Bulldogs in the 2021 cycle. Kirby Smart continues his elite level recruiting since arriving at Georgia and has the Bulldogs set up to compete for championships going forward.
