Why Alabama?

Alabama has been a perennial contender under Head Coach Nick Saban. Lead recruiter Pete Golding and wide receiver coach Holmon Wiggins have built a strong relationship with Thomas. Alabama receivers have been drafted high year in and year out placing the Tide at the top of our WRU rankings. Thomas was able to visit Alabama before the recruiting shutdown and get familiar with the program. Alabama offers an opportunity to play for a top program and be developed into a high NFL draft pick.

Why Georgia?

Kirby Smart and company have done an excellent job recruiting since his arrival at Georgia. Thomas has not been able to visit Georgia because of the recruiting shutdown but will try to visit if the NCAA allows visits again soon. He has had the opportunity to zoom with the coaching staff and has established a good relationship with the staff. The Bulldogs are playoff contender year in and year out, offering the opportunity to play on the big stage in Athens.

Why LSU?

For starters, LSU is literally right down the road from Thomas’ hometown. The defending champs have also done an excellent job preparing receivers for the NFL, ranking #5 in our WRU rankings. Thomas has a close friend who will play basketball at LSU, giving him a familiar face on campus. Mickey Joseph has been recruiting Thomas for the Tigers and has been in regular contact with the star receiver. Thomas was able to visit LSU and is familiar with the local school. The Tigers do an excellent job keeping the state’s top talent at home and will look to do that again with Thomas.

Why Texas A&M?

Jimbo Fisher and the Aggies are attempting to breakthrough in the SEC West. Lead recruiter Tommie Robinson has a long standing relationship with Thomas from his time on the LSU coaching staff. Thomas has not yet visited Texas A&M either, but has done zoom calls with the staff. He hopes to be able to visit the Aggies before making a decision. Texas A&M is in this race and could really make a move with a campus visit.
