Ke’Travion Hargrove: Scouting Report
Recruiting is the life blood of a college football program. Every player added to the program is a new piece of the puzzle. It’s impossible to follow college football and ignore recruiting entirely. Throughout the year we will review the film of some of the top prospects and give you a breakdown of what we see. Today we will dive in and breakdown the tape on Ke’Travion Hargrove to give you a scouting report based on his film.
Ke’Travion Hargrove has adequate height and a solid, compact frame and should play in the 200 pound range in college. He is a good overall athlete that is a very smooth and natural runner. Hargrove is not a burner, but has good enough speed to break some long runs. He possesses a good burst as well and above average lateral agility for a power five running back prospect.
Hargrove runs with tremendous patience for a young back, consistently allowing his blocks to set up the play before hitting the rushing lanes. He plays with good balance and shows the ability to break some tackles. His ability to find open space and not waste time east and west is one of his best traits, as he does not mess around when yards are there for the taking. A natural pass catcher who displays soft hands on RB screens, bubble screens out wide, and even when asked to play some receiver out of the slot. Ke’Travion Hargrove is a good running back prospect that should emerge as a productive starter at the power five level.
