Today we will dive in and breakdown the tape to give you a quick scouting report based on his film.
Deuce Harmon is an explosive athlete at the cornerback position. He is on the shorter side but has a muscular build and is well developed physically. Harmon has the explosive athleticism college teams crave. He has excellent acceleration and can start and stop quickly allowing him to close well in coverage. Harmon has good overall speed allowing him to cover plenty of ground in the secondary. He has solid ball skill and tracks the ball well to make the play.
Harmon is an aggressive defender against the run and will deliver a hit when possible. He sifts through blockers well on the perimeter and makes himself tough for blockers to get their hands on. Harmon does not have ideal height on the outside and will have to make up for it with his excellent leaping ability. He has good instincts but will search for the big play and then rely on his athleticism to get back in position at times. Overall, Harmon is a twitchy athlete who has the athletic profile to excel in coverage. Deuce Harmon is a good cornerback prospect who will develop into a starter on an upper echelon power five team.
