Alabama Crimson TideRecruit Scouting Reports

Agiye Hall: Scouting Report

Recruiting is the life blood of a college football program. Every player added to the program is a new piece of the puzzle. It’s impossible to follow college football and ignore recruiting entirely. Throughout the year as players commit to their school of choice we will review their film and give you a breakdown of what we see. Agiye Hall is committed to Alabama, today we will dive in and breakdown the tape to give you a scouting report based on his film.

Agiye Hall is a spectacular athlete who can make a big play at anytime. Hall has the height and frame to be an imposing receiver on the outside who overpowers defensive backs. Do not let his size fool you, Hall is a fluid athlete with the speed and explosiveness to break a big play at anytime. Hall is a true mismatch who is either too big or too athletic for most defensive backs. He has the speed to get behind the defense and the explosiveness to run away from defenders. His athleticism allows him to make spectacular plays on the ball even when he is covered. After the catch Hall can make a defender miss and make a big play in a hurry.

Hall is still a bit raw as a prospect and needs to work on the technical aspects of the receiver position. He needs to leverage his routes better and become a more refined route runner which will help him create separation in college. Hall tends to allow the ball to come into his body too often and needs to be more consistent with his hands. While he still has work to do, Hall is a dominating player on the gridiron who has a very high ceiling. Agiye Hall has the size and speed to be an excellent receiver who will develop into an all conference type performer at the power five level.
